St Mary the Virgin Church Woolpit was the venue for the 2022 Provincial Church service, with 130 in the congregation of Knights and their families. The Revd Ruth Farrell, the Rector of St Mary’s, made us very welcome as she has done in the past. She was assisted by Kt. Ralph Robertson.
The Bodyguard and Banners of the Province added to the colourful spectacle in the church . The readings were by The Provincial Prior, Provincial Sub Prior and our regular guest David Boswell with prayers lead by V.E. Kt John Elmore .
The afternoon ended with an enjoyable tea and chat in the village hall opposite the church.
